Senior Software Developer (m/w/d) Frontend Angular

Das sind deine spannenden Aufgaben bei uns:

Du verantwortest die Neu- und Weiterentwicklung unseres hochmodernen CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) RAILBASE – einer Plattform, die Verwaltung, den Betrieb und die Instandhaltung von Eisenbahnfahrzeugen und Eisenbahninfrastruktur in einer Anwendung vereint.
Du entwickelst moderne Frontend-Lösungen auf Basis von Angular, Material UI, Kendo UI und Bryntum.
In der Frontend-Entwicklung arbeitest du nicht allein, sondern unterstützt Kolleginnen und Kollegen, indem du dein technisches Know-how weitergibst und sie teilweise anleitest und ausbildest. Andererseits hast du die Möglichkeit dich mit unseren Senior Developern und Consultants auszutauschen und von Ihnen zu lernen.
Du leitest Anforderungen direkt aus User Stories ab und setzt diese in eine smarte, nutzerzentrierte User Experience um.
Bei der technischen Umsetzung der UX legst du Wert auf ein ansprechendes User Interface (UI), gute Performance und eine saubere, wartbare Implementierung.
Du hast Freude daran, Architektur mitzugestalten und unsere Software kontinuierlich weiterzuentwickeln.
Bei Code- und Architektur-Reviews stehst du im engen Austausch mit externen Consultants (z.B. Thinktecture, White Duck).
Du interessierst dich für aktuelle technologische Entwicklungen im Frontend und hältst dein Wissen kontinuierlich auf dem neuesten Stand.

Du hast bereits umfangreiche Erfahrung in der Entwicklung webbasierter Frontend-Technologien gesammelt – insbesondere Angular zählt zu deinen Kernkompetenzen.
Du berätst souverän bei Entscheidungen rund um Softwarearchitektur und Technologiegestaltung.
Neben der technischen Implementierung verfügst du über methodische Kenntnisse in der agilen Softwareentwicklung (SCRUM) sowie ein gutes Verständnis für Usability und UI/UX.
Deine bisherigen Erfahrungen hast du in größeren Teams gesammelt und dein Wissen bereits erfolgreich mit anderen Kolleginnen und Kollegen geteilt.
Unsere Teams sind mehrsprachig – sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse sind unerlässlich.

Du wirst Teil der Produktentwicklung für unser CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), welches dafür sorgt, dass Wartungs- und Instandhaltungsprozesse von Bahnfahrzeugen voll digital über alle Instanzen (Hersteller, Werkstätten, Betreiber etc.) abgewickelt werden können. RAILBASE (www.railbase.com) wird komplett cloudbasiert im TechStack Azure, .Net Core und Angular aufgesetzt und ist Teil eines Projekts des Bundes mit dem Ziel den Instandhaltungsprozess für Loks und Waggons zu digitalisieren. Zukünftig wird RAILBASE zusammen mit dem Kommunikationsstandard RAILDEX weltweit in Bahnprojekten zum Einsatz kommen. Hast Du Lust dabei zu sein?

These are your exciting tasks:

You will be responsible for the new and further development of our state-of-the-art CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) RAILBASE – a platform that combines the management, operation, and maintenance of railway vehicles and railway infrastructure in a single application.
You will develop modern front-end solutions based on Angular, Material UI, Kendo UI, and Bryntum.
In front-end development, you will not work alone, but will support your colleagues by sharing your technical expertise and providing them with guidance and training. You will also have the opportunity to exchange ideas with our senior developers and consultants and learn from them.
You will derive requirements directly from user stories and translate them into a smart, user-centered user experience.
When implementing the UX technically, you will focus on an appealing user interface (UI), good performance, and a clean, maintainable implementation.
You enjoy helping to shape architecture and continuously developing our software.
During code and architecture reviews, you will work closely with external consultants (e.g., Thinktecture, White Duck).
You are interested in current technological developments in front-end development and continuously keep your knowledge up to date.

You have already gained extensive experience in the development of web-based front-end technologies – Angular in particular is one of your core competencies.
You confidently advise on decisions relating to software architecture and technology design.

You will be part of the product development team for our CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), which ensures that maintenance and repair processes for rail vehicles can be handled entirely digitally across all instances (manufacturers, workshops, operators, etc.). RAILBASE (www.railbase.com) is completely cloud-based and set up in TechStack Azure, .Net Core, and Angular. It is part of a federal government project aimed at digitizing the maintenance process for locomotives and railcars. In the future, RAILBASE will be used worldwide in railway projects together with the RAILDEX communication standard. Would you like to be part of it?

What began more than 20 years ago in our parents' laundry room near Braunschweig is now Sternico GmbH—an agile and innovative software company dedicated to the digitalization of the railway industry.
We support numerous industrial customers throughout Europe with established standard products as well as customized software solutions and services. You will be part of the product development of our CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), which maps maintenance and repair processes for rail vehicles completely digitally and consistently across all parties involved – from manufacturers to workshops to operators.
Our RAILBASE product is completely cloud-based and part of a federally funded project implemented in cooperation with the Institute of Transport and Spatial Planning at the University of Applied Sciences in Erfurt. In the future, RAILBASE will be used in railway projects worldwide in conjunction with the RAILDEX communication standard.
